At Pike County High School talent is at a premium. Not only do the Friday night lights shine brightly at the Bulldog Stadium, talent runs throughout in the student body in music, dance and even a bit of comedy as evidenced at the 2019 PCHS Homecoming talent show on Wednesday.

PCHS is celebrating the 2019 PCHS Homecoming all week and at 2:40 p.m. today, the PCHS gymnasium will be rocking with Homecoming spirit when the Dawgs are “let out” for the schoolwide pep rally.

On Friday, the Homecoming Assembly will be at 8:30 a.m. The highlight of the assembly will be the announcement of the Homecoming Queen and her Court. Then in the afternoon, the focus will shift to the Homecoming Parade along Main Street in downtown Brundidge at 2 p.m. The townspeople are encouraged to line the streets in celebration of PCHS Homecoming 2019.

The culminating Homecoming activity will be the gridiron clash between the PCHS Bulldogs and the Opp Bobcats. Pre-game activities will begin at 6 p.m. Friday with the game at 7 p.m.

PCHS Principal Willie Wright said Homecoming week is always a fun for the students and faculty.

“The Bulldogs are undefeated and we are looking for a big turnout for Friday night’s game against Opp,” Wright said. “We invite everyone to come out, enjoy the game and celebrate Homecoming at Pike County High School.”
