Harry Dewayne Page, 80, of the Oak Bowery Community died Wednesday, September 25, 2019, in Troy. Harry was a loving, good-hearted man who loved people and loved kids. He was a generous, hard-working man. A jack of all trades, Harry worked as a long haul truck driver, a builder, a rodeo stock contractor, and a logger. Harry was known most recently for owning and running a portable sawmill. He was a member of the Oak Bowery Church of Christ since 1978, and was loved by all who knew him.
A funeral service will be held Saturday, September 28, 2019, at 11:00 a.m. at Oak Bowery Church of Christ with Reverend Dr. Robert Yawn officiating. Burial will follow in the Belser Cemetery. Visitation will be at the church one hour prior to the service.
His survivors include his wife of 60 years, Mary Page of the Oak Bowery Community; daughter and son-in-law, Cheryl Page Yawn and the Reverend Dr. Robert Yawn of the Oak Bowery Community; grandchildren, Christy Davis Moore (Randy) of Glenwood, Randy Davis of Hoover, Lissa Yawn of Enterprise, Robert Yawn Jr. (Andrea) U.S. Navy deployed to Japan; great-grandchildren, Carlee Moore, Brayden Moore, Cooper Yawn and Abigail Yawn; siblings, Reggie (Johnnie) Page, Billy Glenn (Carolyn) Page, Roy Raymond (Sarah) Page, Mary Page Rogers(Roy) and Jackie Ray Page. He was preceded in death by his parents, Herman and Lois Page and a brother, Bobby Gene Page.
