Criminal trials set for gun, drug charges

Criminal trials have been set in Troy Circuit Court and the charges include shooting into vehicles, robbery and drug possession.

Aundre McCullough will face trial beginning Monday on charges of second-degree robbery, discharging a gun into a dwelling or vehicle and second-degree burglary.

Timothy Wambles will begin trial Tuesday on a charge of possession or reception of a controlled substance.

Dujuan Mency will be tried on charges of third-degree burglary and attempted theft beginning Wednesday.

Mency will also face a charge of felony third-degree domestic violence, with that trial starting Thursday.

Gary Wayne Brooks will be tried next Friday on two charges of possession or reception of a controlled substance and a charge of use of a controlled substance.

The juries were selected for all five trials and trial dates were set Thursday. All trials will take place at the Pike County Courthouse.
