Premier Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram awarded checks to five Pike County elementary schools Friday totaling $73,600.
Educators from all five schools were at the dealership Friday morning to accept their school’s individual checks, each totaling $14,720.
The dealership donated $200 per car sold in January, February and March, and Owner Jason Gregory said the dealership was blown away by the support.
“Never did we think we would be able to donate this much money to our local schools” Gregory said. “We are truly blessed to be part of Troy and to be in a position to help.”
The dealership sold 368 vehicles during the time span and reached record sales in each of the three months.
“My wife’s family is full of educators and we have three children in school here,” Gregory said. “So we brainstormed and though about what we could do for the future. This has been a great cause for all of us. Without the PTOs and elementary schools getting behind us we couldn’t have been as successful.”
“I’ve watched Jason, the management and the entire team at Premier work diligently to promote and execute this fundraiser” said Wally Lowery (President of Troy City School
Board). It’s a pleasure to see what they are doing to help our community and be customer-focused. I’m glad they are part of Troy.”
Founded in 2017, Premier Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram is a new and pre-owned dealership.
