Harry Eugene Lees

Harry Eugene Lees, born December 7, 1937, passed away March 19, 2019. Harry was born in Remlap, Alabama, and grew up in Birmingham where he attended Woodlawn High School. He retired from the United States Air Force as a Master Sergeant after 22 years of service and later worked in the life insurance industry in Panama City, Florida; Valdosta, Georgia; and Troy. He then retired with his wife to Milton, Florida.

A memorial service for Harry Lees will be held Friday, March 29, 2019, at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Green Hills Funeral Home. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

His survivors include his wife, Linda Carole Waller Lees; children, Leah Carole Lees Richardson, Harry David Lees Jr., Teresa Dustine Lees and Tracey Lynn Manemann; grandchildren, Jeri Elizabeth Richardson, Casey Lianne Robinson, Stacey Favre Renner, Mary Katherine Lees, and Carter Lees; and great-grandchildren, Allison Nicole Renner, Ian Michael Renner, Devin Lane Davis, Tyler David Davis, Parker Elise Robinson, Caegen Ansley Robinson and Payson Blair Robinson. He was preceded in death by his mother, Hazel Eugenia Watson Lees; father, Harry David Lees; sister, Marjorie Lees Linn; brother, David Watson Lees; stepdaughter, Francis Wingate Butgereit; granddaughter, Kendell Renee Byrd; and great-grandchildren, Ethan Michael Renner and Angel Davis.
