The Troy Pilot Club celebrated 50 years of service to the local community Sunday with a reception at the Collegedale Church of Christ.

Probate Judge Michael Bunn delivered a proclamation during the reception to honor the club.

“Whereas the Pilot Club works to make the City of Troy and surrounding communities better through volunteer activities of education and financial support … I proclaim officially the recognition and appreciation of the Pilot Club of Troy.”

Members from the local, regional and even state chapters attended to celebrate the club’s work in the surrounding community.

The Pilot Club The Pilot Club focuses on encouraging brain safety and health and working and helping those with brain-related disorders. The club meets on the second Monday of each month at 6 p.m. at the Collegedale Church of Christ.
