Edgar Lee Fannin, 88, of the Shady Grove Community, died Sunday, February 10, 2019, at Troy Health and Rehabilitation. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, February 12, 2019 at 3 p.m. from Shady Grove Methodist Church in Shady Grove with the Rev. Kathy Fisher officiating. Interment will follow in Shady Grove Methodist Cemetery with Dillard Funeral Home of Troy directing.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, February 12, 2019, from 1:30 p.m. until 2:30 p.m. at Dillard Funeral Home in Troy.

He is preceded in death by his father, Edgar S. Fannin; mother, Ruth Fannin Sermon; brother, Jake C. Fannin; and sister, Annett F. Stovall.

He is survived by his wife, Carolyn Carter Fannin; children, Nathan Alan Fannin (Elaine), Susan Fannin Fearing (Malcolm), Deborah Fannin Stell (Walt); grandchildren: Aleta Fannin, Ruth Fannin, Alan Fannin (Julie), Kathryn Fearing, Allison Martin (Ted), Margaret Northrup (Paul), Lee Stell, Audie Stell, Susie Stell; great-grandchildren, Lexie Tillery, Lance Tillery, Lacy Stephens, Hudson Fannin, Mary Kathryn Fearing Gore, Carolyn Fearing Gore, Keith Martin, Olivia Martin, Edgar Martin, Oliver Northrup, Susan Valerie Northrup.

Serving as pallbearers will be Alan Fannin, Lee Stell, Audie Stell, Ted Martin, Paul Northrup, and Lance Tillery.
