Robert Stephens ‘Bob’ Andress

Robert Stephens “Bob” Andress, 83, of Troy died Saturday, February 3, 2019, at Luverne Health and Rehabilitation. Bob was the last of five children born to the late Wesley and Burlye Andress. He was a member of the Troy Masonic Lodge No. 56, and a member of Bush Memorial Baptist Church for over 50 years. He retired from the Troy University Physical Plant with over 35 years of service. He was an avid fan of the Troy Trojans, Auburn Tigers and Elvis.

A graveside service will be held Tuesday, February 5, 2019, at 11:00 a.m. in the Green Hills Memorial Park Cemetery with Reverend Dwayne Norman officiating. Family and friends will gather at the gravesite at 10:30 a.m.

His survivors include his wife of 56 years, Johnnie Andress of Troy; son and daughter-in-law, Robert S. “Bobby” and Patty Andress, Jr., of Cary, Illinois; grandchildren, Haley Andress, John Andress, Mallory Fazio, Sydney Ruhnke, Kyle Norton and Drew Norton; great-grandchildren, Franklin Fazio, Vincent Fazio, Hazel Ruhnke and Thomas Fazio; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Mary Ann and Tom Danford and also several nieces and nephews

Honorary pallbearers will be the Masons of Troy Lodge 56, his nephews, and Tim Hunter, Bill Thompson and Billy Young.

The family would like to say a special thank you to the Luverne Health and Rehabilitation for the wonderful care and loved they showed to Bob and his family.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Bush Memorial Baptist Church, 605 George Wallace Drive, Troy, AL 36081.
