Wallace Phelps, 81, a resident of Seguin, Texas, and formerly of Troy, passed away Sunday, January 13, 2019.

A celebration of life service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, January 18, at Dillard Funeral Home. The burial will follow at Hephzibah Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10:00 am until 11:00 am at Dillard Funeral Home.

Mr. Phelps is survived by his daughter, Anita (Robert) Bostic; son, Michael (Chasity) Phelps; brother, Comer Lee (Beverly) Phelps; and many loving grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and extended family. He is survived by Catherine (Bob) Tabor, the mother of his children and his legal guardian.
