Foye Jean Brown

Foye Jean Brown, 81, of Troy died Wednesday, December 12, 2018 in Enterprise. Foye Jean was a licensed paramedic and a registered Respiratory Therapist. She was also an accomplished seamstress who did alterations and sewing jobs for many years in Troy. She even helped design and manufacture majorette and cheerleader uniforms for the local schools and Troy University.
A funeral service will be held Saturday, December 15, 2018 at 3:00 PM in the chapel of Green Hills Funeral Home with the Reverend Brian McLendon officiating. Burial will follow in the Green Hills Memorial Park Cemetery. A visitation will be held 2 hours prior to the service at the funeral home.
Her survivors include; daughters, Sue Lynn Brown and Cindy (Wade ) Griggs both of Troy, her grandchildren, Ericka (Clay) Register, Tamara (Daren) Potter and Stuart Brown all of Troy, great grandchildren, Isabella, Nathan and Brady Register and Logan Potter, her brothers, Bill McLendon of Pensacola, Johnny (Peggy) McLendon of Troy and Rickey (Sue) McLendon of Troy, several nieces and nephews and other close family members. Foye Jean was preceded in death by her parents Z.B. and Minnie Lee Harris McLendon , her husband Paul Brown, and her brothers, Hoyt McLendon, James Earl McLendon and Wade McLendon.
Serving as pallbearers will be her nephews.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Park Memorial United Methodist Church, 750 Elba Highway, Troy, AL 36079.
The Brown family would like to extend a special thanks to Troy Health and Rehabilitation , Medical Center Enterprise and Dr. Alan Young for the great care and compassion they received.
