Eugene Brabham Harrison, 89, of Tanyard, died December 11, 2018, at his home. Funeral services will be held Friday, December 15, 2018, from Gray Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. George Mathison officiating and eulogy by Jeff Harrison. Burial will follow in Pleasant Hill Cemetery with Gray Funeral Home directing.

He is preceded in death by his parents, James Warren Harrison and Amorett Brabham Harrison; brother, Lloyd Allison Harrison; and sister, Celia H. Turner.

Survivors include his wife of 32 years, Betty Mason Harrison; sister, Allene H. Snider of Troy; step-sons, Steve (Jane) Holmes of Alabaster and Jeff Holmes of Brundidge; step-daughter, Connie Kihara of Troy; nephews, Britt Snider of Dothan, and Jeff (Karla) Harrison of Enon; nieces, Celia Jean Allen of Panama City, Florida, JoAnn (Ricky) Jinks of Panama City, and Karen (Myron) Overstreet of Dothan; grandchildren, Alison H. (Jeff) Carmichael and Adam Holmes of Alabaster; great-nephews, Jared Jinks, Shane Snyder, Tyler Harrison and Brayden Snider; and great-niece, Karma Jinks.

Gene was a lineman with Dixie Electric Cooperative for 32 years.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. until the funeral hour at Gray Funeral Home.
