Man charged with multiple burglaries of Troy Grounds Department

Troy police have arrested a man accused of multiple burglaries from the City of Troy Grounds Department.

Eldren Travon Wright, 40, of Dayton, Ohio, is charged with four counts of third-degree burglary related to the separate incidents.

September 19 and September 24,” said Troy Police Chief Randall Barr. “Power tools, hand tools and several gas cans full of gas were taken from the building. Cameras and other surveillance equipment was installed in the building. Wright’s image was soon captured on video and he was identified as a suspect.”

Wright was arrested without incident Tuesday on Woodland Hills Drive and has been booked into the Pike County Jail on a $40,000 bond. Third-degree burglary is a Class C Felony punishable by up to 10 years in prison.
