Rosalyn Janice Connor Holmes, 81, of Brundidge, passed away Wednesday, September 12, 2018. The visitation will be held at Dillard Funeral Home in Troy from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. on Monday, September 17, 2018, followed by the funeral service at 11:00 a.m. with Reverend Louis Johnson officiating. A private family graveside service will be held at a later time.

Rosalyn was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She had a bachelor’s degree in education and a master’s degree in agency counseling from Troy University. Rosalyn worked in the Continuing Education program at Columbus College in Columbus, Georgia, and she was a librarian in Brundidge for 10 years.

Rosalyn was preceded in death by her parents, Alvin and Beulah Chadwick Connor. She is survived by her brother, Alvin Joel (Lell) Connor; three children, David (Susan) Holmes, Brent Holmes, and Heather (Rex) Alexander; grandchildren, Audrey (Vijoy) Varghese, Jacob (Amber) Holmes, Kyrielle (Jake) Wing, Tony Holmes, Mitchell Alexander, Christine Alexander and Lauren Gulledge; great grandchild Gabriel Wing; a great granddaughter on the way; and other family and friends.
