Ruby Meredith Powell, 83, formerly of Troy, died Monday, September 10, 2018, in Graceville, Florida. Funeral Services will be held Friday, September 14, 2018 at 2:30 p.m. at Collegedale Church of Christ in Troy with the Minister Bobby Templin officiating. Interment will follow in Hamilton Crossroads Cemetery with Dillard Funeral Home of Troy directing. Visitation will be held Friday, September 14, 2018 from 1:30-2:30 p.m. at the church.

She is survived by her daughter, Kathy Jordan (Mickey); son, Alan Rowell; grandchildren: Brent Jordan, Quinton Powell and Hayli Saulsbury; two great-grandchildren; brother, Bill Meredith (Irene); and sisters, Jane Stearns and Jean Segrest.

Mrs. Powell is preceded in death by her husband, Jack Lewis Powell; son, Rodney Powell; parents, Dewey and Hazel Meredith;  and brothers, Ben Meredith, Robert Meredith and Charles Meredith.
