Mr. Thomas Wayne Abercrombie, 82, of Young Harris, Georgia, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, August 23, 2018. He was born in Spring Hill, Alabama to the late Johnny Edmond and Lydia Betty Sims Abercrombie on May 30, 1936.

Wayne had a glowing personality and never met a stranger. He loved making new friends and spending time with old friends. Mr. Abercrombie served in the United States Air Force and was a devoted member of Ebenezer Baptist Church. He goes now to meet his parents, as well as his step-grandson Jesse Sutton.

Wayne will be remembered by all who knew him, but will be especially missed by his loving wife, Judy Ann Busby Abercrombie; children, Dawn Free (Billy) and Dana Abercrombie Cobb; step-children, Debbie Sutton (Dean), Michael Busby, and Mark Busby; grandson, Joshua Morgan Folmar (Rebecca); step-grandchildren, Carrie Ellis (Ryan) and Randy Sutton (Deeanna); step-great-grandchildren, Avery Sutton, Westin Sutton, Hannah Johnson and Gavin Ellis; and sister, Glenda Jean Gunter. Also sharing in his legacy are many nieces, nephews, friends and extended family.
