James Gerald Hamm, 81, a resident of Troy, passed away Wednesday, August 8, 2018, at Baptist South in Montgomery. Funeral services will be held Saturday, August 11, 2018 at 9 a.m. at Old Lebanon Baptist Church with the Rev. Perry Green Officiating. Burial will follow at the cemetery at Old Lebanon with Dillard Funeral Home of Troy directing.

He is survived by his children, Mike Hamm, Mark Hamm, Marlon Hamm, and Marie Mosely (Josh); grandchildren, Nicole Kreis (Todd), Clay Hamm (Rachel), and Thomas; great-grandchildren, Sam, Walt, and John Brantley Kreis, and Emily Grace Hamm; and siblings, Polly Day, Sara Peacock, Marshada Gorman, Pete Hamm, Charles Hamm, and Andy Hamm.

Mr. Hamm is preceeded in death by his wife, Janie Flowers Hamm; parents: John Wesley and Ailene Taylor Hamm; and siblings, Ethel Talley, Kenneth Hamm, and John Wesley Hamm, Jr. (Ricky).
