When the XXXtremes are on stage, the audience can depend on a good time. A good time was had by all at Female Factor on Wednesday. The XXXtremes, Lisa Vest, Jackie Beavers and Dena White – or “1X, 2X and 3X” – are ladies that love to laugh, sing and dance. But, most of all, they love the Lord. The ladies have all experienced tragedy in their lives but have found a way to continue to live, laugh and love. They found the prescription in Proverbs 17:22: A merry heart doeth good like a medicine. Today, they are plus-size girls in a skinny man’s world, but laughter is their medicine and they like to give big, heavy doses to their audiences – and it works. Even ole’ sour faces turn frowns upside down when the XXXtremes are on stage. Surely, every female left The Studio Wednesday feeling a little better after having been “XXXtremely” entertained.
