Mrs. Annelle Dickert Shields, 91, formerly of Brundidge, Ala., died Sunday, April 15, 2018, in Birmingham, Ala. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, April 18, 2018, at 11:00 a.m. at the Brundidge United Methodist Church. Burial will follow in Lakeview Cemetery with Dillard Funeral Home of Brundidge directing. There will be a one-hour lie-in-state prior to the service at the church.

She is survived by her children, Louis Shields and Fred Shields; four grandchildren: Lela Shields, Jessica Shields, Rachel Shields and Jonathan Shields; one great-grandchild, Cedar Max Wilder Swartz; and her sister, Sara Dickert Bowden.
