Mary Emma Oglesby, 78, of Crawford, Ala., formerly of Glenwood, Ala., went to be with the Lord on Sunday, April 8, 2018, at Piedmont Columbus Regional Hospital in Georgia. She was a compassionate nurse of over 25 years and was known by her great work ethic that she instilled in her children.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, April 11, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Dillard Funeral Home in Troy with Dr. Wayne Scarbrough, Dr. Malone Chandler and Randy Gardner officiating. Burial will follow in the Providence Cemetery with Dillard Funeral Home in Troy directing. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 10, 2018, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Dillard Funeral Home in Troy.

Pallbearers will be her grandsons and great grandsons.

Mrs. Oglesby is survived by her husband of 63 years, Oren Oglesby of Crawford; children, Anida Stubbs of Troy, Susan Hall (Dean) of Phenix City, Cindy Hammett (Johnny) of Crawford, Pam Gardner (Randy) of Phenix City and Stacey Oglesby (Dawn) of Prattville; siblings, Evans Williamson (Sybil) of Troy, Elkin Williamson of Elba, and Sandra Floyd (Danny) of Montgomery; grandchildren, Kimberly Quattlebaum (Grady), Hamilton Stubbs (Savannah), Andrew Hall (Haley), Matthew Hall, Jessie Hammett, Jody Hammett, Jason Hammett, Joshua Hammett (Kristin), Justin and Jacob Allen, Sera Mace (Patrick), Kady Oglesby and Seth Oglesby; great -grandchildren, Caleb Stubbs, Harley Quattlebaum, Rylee Hall, A.J. Hall, Kennedy Allen and one on the way; and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Shelby Williamson and Anna Pearl Skipper; son-in-law, Wayne Stubbs and sister-in-law, Shirley Williamson.
