The Troy Police Department is looking for the suspect or suspects involved in shooting into an occupied residence Sunday night.
“Officers responded to a report of shots fired into a residence in the 900 block of Railroad Avenue at approximately 9:25 p.m. Sunday night,” said Troy Police Chief Randall Barr. “When officers arrived on scene they found several bullet holes in the front wall of the residence. The house was occupied by several adults and a small child when the shots were fired at the residence.”
Despite police finding evidence that several rounds were fired into the home, nobody was reported injured in the incident.
Barr said a witness saw a silver car leaving the area after the shots were fired. It is the only information police available at this time, Barr said.
The Troy Police Department asks that anyone with information about this case to call the Troy Police Department at 334-566-0500 or the secret witness line at 334-566-5555.
