Officials say a high school student that fell from a balcony at Claudia Crosby Theater Thursday on the Troy University campus does not have life-threatening injuries.

Capt. Curtis Shaver of the Troy Fire Department said a student from a visiting high school fell from the balcony during the Southeast U.S. Honor Band.

The incident occurred at approximately 10:20 a.m. Thursday.

The student has been transported to the hospital for treatment of his injuries.
