Students at Charles Henderson Middle School honored Veterans Day Wednesday morning with a program featuring a short play on what it means to be a veteran and soldier. Guest speaker Dr. Lee Hicks, superintendent of Troy City Schools and military veteran, spoke about his service in the Marine Corps and about being courageous and respectful.
