Santa Fe catches fire

- Firefighters respond to Santa Fe Cattle Company Thursday after getting a report of a structure fire at the restaurant. The fire was contained and the business plans to reopen today for regular business hours.
Troy firefighters responded to a structure fire at Santa Fe Cattle Co. Thursday after recieving reports of smoke inside the building.
“It was a quick response on our end and on them calling 911 when they first saw it,” said Troy Fire Chief Michael Stephens. “It was contained to one wall on the east side of the entrance.”
Stephens said there was minimal smoke and water damage and no injuries reported.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
Shanna Whiteside of Santa Fe said repairs were being made Thursday evening and the business is expected to open for regular business hours at 11 a.m. today.
