SBDC offers new training program

Improving small business productivity and security is the aim of Troy University’s Small Business Development Center’s newest training program.
“Decode: Unraveling the Secret World of Computers & Technology” is 1 p.m. – 3 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 31 at the Pike County Economic Development Center at 100 Industrial Blvd. in Troy. The class is free to attend but seating is limited. Call 334-670-2274 to reserve a spot.
The program is presented by Mario Johnson of Mario Johnson IT Solutions. Johnson holds degrees in information systems and computers science and is a Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator, Technology Specialist and Messaging Administrator.
He presents simple tricks and shortcuts to help improve office/employee productivity, creation of in-house networks, do-it-yourself computer maintenance and tips on keeping private information private.
The event is co-sponsored by the Pike County Economic Development Corporation.
