Loretta Cole, age 87, of Ariton, AL, died Wednesday, July 5, 2017 at her home.  Graveside services will be held Saturday, July 8, 2017 at 2:30 p.m. at Old Tabernacle United Methodist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 8, 2017 from 12 to 2 p.m. at Dillard Funeral Home in Brundidge.

Ms. Cole is survived by her great niece, Tina Senn (Sammy) of Ariton; great-great-nephew, Justin Ellis of Ariton; niece, Shirley McWaters (Karo) of Brundidge; , great nieces, Amelia Long (Terry) of Banks, Shelia McWaters and Sharon Shackelford, both of Wedowee and  and a host of other relatives.

She was preceded in death by her son, Jack Melvin Cole; her parents; four brothers, John Henry Cole, John D. Cole, Malcolm Cole and Cecil “Billy” Cole and 4 sisters, Lonnie Mae McWaters, Bonnie Rae “Tindol” Dillard, Rosie Lee Cole and Annie Pearl Smith.
