Any team that has aspirations of playing in a Dixie baseball or softball state tournament this summer will likely have to go through Troy first.

As the Troy Sportsplex is primed to host a number of youth softball and baseball tournaments in the coming weeks, local Troy teams are eager to play other competition instead of practicing against each other.

This Saturday, June 10, over 20 youth softball teams of all ages will visit the Sportsplex for the Dixie Softball Warmup Tournament, with the boys on the road at the same time for their pre-district warmup action.
