Two Montgomery men were arrested in Troy Monday after leading police on a lengthy low-speed pursuit that ended with the men accruing multiple charges.

Troy Police Chief Randall Barr said Mario Tarrell Motley, 35, and Jaboris Williams, 19, were arrested after the pursuit on charges of unlawful distribution of a controlled substance, second-degree possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a concealed weapon without a permit. Motley was also charged with attempting to elude and served with an existing warrant for contempt of court.

“During the pursuit, the two tossed a paper bag out the window that was recovered by police,” Barr said. “The bag contained cash, illegal narcotics and a handgun. Police also found marijuana and drug paraphernalia inside the car.”
