Oak Grove United Methodist Church will celebrate Homecoming at 11 a.m. Sunday. All members, former members and friends of the historic church are invited.

Deborah Huggins-Davis, church member, said Oak Grove UMC was organized in 1885 and has remained active since that time.

The Rev. Jim Powell will deliver Oak Grove UMC Homecoming message at 11 a.m. The church membership will welcome new members into their fellowship as a special event of Homecoming 2017.

Following the morning worship service, there will be a covered dish lunch at the church fellowship hall. Everyone in attendance is invited.

Oak Grove United Methodist Church is located off U.S. Highway 231 north of Troy. Take a left just past the Conecuh River Bridge and follow that road about three miles to the church.
