Nettie Lee Hedrick, 85, passed away March 20, 2017 at home in Ormond Beach.  She was born March 13, 1932 in Brundidge, AL.

She is survived by her daughter, Kristi Itoh (David) Ormond Beach, grandson Patrick M. O’Briant, Knoxville, TN, great grandsons, Patrick O’Briant, Jr. and Daniel O’Briant, Knoxville, TN, sister-in-law Milda Lee Castleberry and nephew Samuel D. Lee, Pensacola, FL, her aunt Carolynn Lee, Brundidge, AL and many cousins in Brundidge, AL.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Samuel and Ruth Lee of Brundidge, AL, her brother Thomas L. Lee, Pensacola, FL, her husband Dr. Richard P. Hedrick, and her son Raymond Hedrick, Melrose, FL.

She met her husband, Dr. Richard P. Hedrick in Avon Park, FL.  They were married 55 years.

She was a retired Real Estate Broker and she served on the City Council of Orange City for 11 years and on various committees for Land Use and Economic Development.  Family will have a private memorial.  In her memory, family request donations to your local church, Alzheimer Foundation(alz.org) or Kindred Gentiva Hospice Foundation.
