Regionals wrap up at Rec. Center

- Messenger Photo/jonah enfingerThe Troy Recreation Department closed out the NASP 2017 Regional Archery Tournament on Friday afternoon. Over 250 Archers were present at the competition including 115 from Troy City Schools. Other local schools to participate in the tournament were, Goshen and the Banks School.Three different divisions made up the bulls-eye portion of the tournament that included fourth and fifth graders, sixth through eighth grade and a high school division. Each participant were giving 15 shots from 10 and 15 meters out.Along with the bulls-eye portion of the tournament interested participants were also able to take part in the 3-D tournament.Each participate had the opportunity to shoot nine arrows at nine different targets that included: a squirrell, a goat, a bear and coyote.
