Troy City Schools Superintendent, Dr. Lee Hicks, shared some valuable interviewing tips with Charles Henderson High School FBLA students on January 25th, 2017. Students got to experience both sides of the interview process. Each student that wanted to be interviewed filled out an application. Dr. Hicks interviewed each student and critiqued them on some things to make sure of and to work on. These students included Noah Lowery, Ja’ Derrick Baxter, Loftin Worthington, A ‘Jada Suddith, Cade Curtis, Cobi Jones, and Matt Dubose.  One piece of advice that he gave each student was, “You can never be over dressed for an interview.” He also talked about the importance of the “little things.” Such as a firm handshake, posture, personality, and correct grammar. Following Dr. Hicks visit, several students became part of the interview team. They participated as a STUDENT REPRESENTATIVE during actual interviews held at Charles Henderson High School. This interview included Coach Brady McCoy, Vice Principal Shelby Tuck, Principal Brock Kelley, and the student representatives. The student representatives were Noah Lowery, Cole Coppage, Cobi Jones, Cole Curtis, Matt Dubose, Hanna Huner, Lexi Sanders, Cade Curtis, Alyssa English, Orion Nokes, Hayden Roberts, and Destiny Billups.
