Julian Massey, 87, of Goshen passed away Wednesday, January 25, 2017 at Enterprise Medical Center. He was born April 12, 1929 in Troy, Alabama to the late James Lucious Massey and Dolly Fredrick Massey.

He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Mary Kelley Massey of Goshen and daughters, Julia Lynn Massey Corley of Goshen and Cheryll Massey Penny (Steve) of Glenwood; granddaughters, Keisha (Heath) Mills of Luverne, Krisha (Brian) Alewine of Goshen; grandsons, Brendon (Nicole) Penny of Elizabeth City, NC and Justin Penny and Sidney Sullivan of Glenwood; great-grandchildren, Mary-Kaye and Ella-Claire Mills, Jace and Cade Alewine, Lennon River Penny, Stella Baggett, and numerous cousins.

Funeral services for Mr. Massey will be held on Saturday, January 28, 2017 at 2 pm in the Chapel of Dillard Funeral Home in Troy, Al with the Reverend Jared Buchanan and the Reverend W.O. Sanders officiating. Burial will follow in Hephzibah Cemetery with Dillard Funeral Home of Troy directing. Visitation will be held prior to the service from 1-2 pm.
