Mrs. Ruthie Burgans Pace of Shady Grove, AL passed away Monday, January 9, 2017 at Baptist Medical Center East in Montgomery. She was 71. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, January 13, 2017 at Oak Bowery Church of Christ with Rev. Collis Wright officiating. Burial will follow in Belser Cemetery with Skeen Funeral Home of Troy directing. Visitation will be held Friday at the church from 12:30 pm until service time. She was born April 24, 1945 in Pike County, AL to the late Thomas Jefferson Burgans and Alice Corine Edwards Dillard.  She was employed at Sikorsky Support Services Inc, in Troy and owner of the Eagle Feather at Pike Pioneer Village in Troy. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her brothers and sisters Johnny Burgans, Mary Jordan, Nancy Olene Tillery, Lonnie Sanders, Mae Thomas, Otis Wright, Henry Lee Wright and Gerome Wright. She is survived by her sons, Lee Pace (Amber), Wicksburg; and Randall Pace (Tammie), Elmore County; daughters, Gail Pace, Ramer; and April Smith (Lexi), Daleville; grandchildren, Aaron Pace, Shawn Barber, Cheryl Gallagher, Candice Jarman, Nickie Walters, Chasity Pace, Carmen Pace, Kaley Pace, Nepthali Delacruz and Israel Delacruz; 12 great grandchildren; brother, Rev. Collis Wright, Ramer; sisters, Peggy Thompson (Harold),Choctaw, MS; Nancy Yarenko Tuskegee; and Marilyn Wise, Enterprise.
