Norman Clark Campbell, 58, went to be with Jesus on December 8, 2016, surrounded by his beloved family at his home in the Oak Grove Community. He was born in Troy, Alabama to parents, Charles Tyson (Hot) Campbell and Wanza S. Griswold.
He was an amazing husband, father and Papa. Wife, Joy L. Campbell, Daughter, April C. Johnson (Alec), Grandchildren: Madison, Reid and Molli Kate Johnson, all of Troy, AL.
Norman was one of 3 children; preceded in death by, Charlene Campbell (Chip) of Grady, Al. Survived by Becky C. Giddings (Byron) of Navarre, FL.
Norman is survived by his mother, Wanza S. Griswold and father, Athol S. Griswold of Troy.
He loved and was loved by many brothers and sisters-in-law, nephews, great nieces, nephews and cousins.
Gratitude to Leigh Anne Davis, Kellie Cleveland, Lauren Kilcrease, Shanna Taylor, Alacare Hospice and the many others that showed so much love to our family during this journey.
Services will be held on Monday, December 12, 2016 at 10 am at Oak Grove United Methodist Church in Troy with Bro. Charlie Newman and Reverend Benjamin Jones officiating. Burial to follow in Oak Grove UMC Cemetery.
Serving as pallbearers will be: Bill Dunaway, Bobby Drinkard, Clif Steed, Frank Starlin, Jim Adams and Tim Bowers.
The family will receive friends from 5 – 7 pm on Sunday, December 11, 2016 at Dillard Funeral Home, Troy, AL.
