Mrs. Florilla Crapps of Troy passed away Monday, November 21, 2016, at Troy Health and Rehab in Troy. She was 91. Graveside services will be held at 1:00 pm Friday, November 25, 2016, at Green Hills Memorial Park Cemetery with Dr. Oscar T. Cope officiating. Burial will follow in Green Hills Memorial Park Cemetery with Skeen Funeral Home of Troy directing. The family will receive friends Friday, November 25, 2016, from 12:00 pm until 12:30 pm at Skeen Funeral Home in Troy. Mrs. Crapps was born in Pike County, AL, February 11, 1925, daughter of the late Ewell Thrash and Ruby Roundtree Thrash. She worked 42 1/2 years in the Pike County Tax Collector’s office. She was also a member of Southside Baptist Church. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her husband, Marvin Crapps, 2 brothers, Aubrey Windel Thrash and Ewell Fred Thrash, and a sister, Lavonia Rhodes. She is survived by 2 brothers, James Winfred Thrash (Betty), Chattanooga, TN and Jesse Lomax Thrash, FL; sister, Glennie Thrash Cope (Oscar), Fairburn, GA and several nieces and nephews. Serving as pallbearers will be David Rhodes, Brad Rhodes, Charles Rhodes, Brent Rhodes, Chris Cope and Steve Thrash.
