A Brundidge woman was killed on Saturday when her car went off the road and overturned.

Ravean Keyierra Brundidge, 26, was killed in the single-vehicle accident and a passenger was transported to a hospital for treatment of injuries, according to Alabama State Trooper Kevin Cook.

The crash occurred at approximately 1:30 a.m. on County Road 5534 three miles west of Brundidge.

The preliminary investigation indicates that speed may have been a factor in the crash.

Nothing further is available as Alabama State Troopers continue to investigate.
