Finally, there is a hint of fall in the air and thoughts are turning to autumn leaves, harvest festivals and pumpkin pies.
And, what better way to welcome fall than with a trip to the Harvest Pumpkin Patch.
First Baptist Church in Troy will present its Harvest Pumpkin Patch from October 8 though October 31 at the main branch of Troy Bank & Trust on Highway 231 in Troy.
“First Baptist Church is proud to bring the Harvest Pumpkin Patch to Troy for the first time,” said Bart Culpepper, FBC worship pastor. “This year, the Patch will feature storytime, photo opportunities and special activities for registered preschool and elementary school groups.”
The Harvest Pumpkin Patch will be open daily beginning Saturday until Halloween. Hours of operation are 10 a.m. until 7:30 p.m. Monday through Friday; 9 a.m. until 7 p.m. on Saturdays and from noon until 6 p.m. on Sundays.
The Patch will have pumpkins and gourds, priced to sell.
The proceeds from the Harvest Pumpkin Patch will benefit the mission projects of First Baptist Church Troy.
