Jarrod Massey will be the featured speaker of the Pike County Republican Women next week.

The group meets at 11:30 a.m. at The Studio, 301 E. Walnut St.

Massey, a Troy native and former lobbyist and developer, said the people of Troy have been overwhelmingly supportive of him and his family throughout their journey of the last six years. His address to the local Republican Women’s organization will be a brutally honest commentary of what he and his family experienced during that difficult time. Mr. Massey has written that this experience was not one that he would have envisioned, but believes that much can be learned from it. He said he believes that as he shares, audiences are enlightened beyond media reports, which were mere snapshots of events.
