Randy Ross, Troy University alumnus and event organizer, said the Brundidge chapter of the Troy University Alumni Association organized with 160 members and that number could be reached or exceeded this year.

“Brundidge has always been a strong supporter of Troy University and Troy University athletics,” Ross said.

“With six home football games this season, it will be an exciting time to be a Trojan. We are very fortunate to have a Division I football team and all of the fun and excitement of big time college football right here at home.”

Ross said Bronda Denison will represent Troy University at the Brundidge alumni kickoff event.

“Bronda will have information about the Trojan’s Power “T” campaign that we can all be a part of,” Ross said.

“The Power “T” will be ‘the’ symbol of Troy University much like the AU is for Auburn and the Alabama ‘A’ script. We’ll want to know more about the Power ‘T’ and how we can help promote Troy University by ‘planting the Troy flag’ wherever we go.”

Denison will also have information about bus trips to away football games and spirit events and activities planned during the football season.

“Bronda will make us aware of the projects that are underway on campus and what might be in the future for Troy University,” Ross said.

“A lot of great things are happening at Troy University that we need to know about.

“As alumni and friends of Troy University, we should take advantage of the opportunities the university offers.”

Door prizes will be awarded at the Brundidge alumni chapter meeting and they will be prizes especially for Trojan fans.

“We’ll be giving ‘Troy’ prizes that any Trojan fan would be glad to have,” Ross said.

Officers for 2016-2017 will be elected and Trojan fans can sign on the dotted line and become official members of the Brundidge Chapter of the Troy University Alumni Association.
