Dorothy “Dot” Ferguson Boutwell, 90, a resident of Suwanee, Georgia, formerly of Troy, passed away on Monday, July 25, 2016. Funeral services for Mrs. Boutwell will be held, Thursday, July 28, 2016 at 11:30 am at Dillard Funeral Home Chapel in Troy, Al. with Dr. Ed Sunday-Winters of the First Baptist Church of Phenix City, Al. officiating. Visitation will be held prior to the service beginning at 9:30 am – 11:30 am. Burial will be at Green Hills Cemetery, Troy, with Dillard Funeral Home directing.

Mrs. Boutwell is survived by her husband: Thomas Ray Boutwell; 1 son, Thomas Ray Boutwell Jr.; 1 daughter: Tara Boutwell Irvin; 4 grandchildren: Brittany Hatcher (Chris), Taryn Wellham (Charlie), Thomas Ray Boutwell III (Fiance, Dana) and Tamara Irvin; 2 great-grandchildren: Mason Hatcher and Charles Jackson Wellham; 1 sister: Betty Ferguson Easterwood.

Mrs. Boutwell is preceded in death by her parents, Thomas Edward and Ollie Ferguson; 2 sisters: Mildred Ferguson Calvert and Faye Ferguson; 1 brother: Thomas Ferguson. Pallbearers are: Carl Ferguson, Thomas Ray Boutwell III, Mike Boutwell, Chris Hatcher, Bobby Patterson, William Calvert, David Ferguson and Jeff Boutwell.
