Recently published author Annette M. Bradley will be featured at a book signing from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. Saturday at the Johnson Center for the Arts in Troy.

Her first book, “The Gift of Prayer” is based on her life and her relationship with the Lord.

“It has been my experience that a lot of us struggle with prayer,” said Bradley, a minister, public speaker and Christian author. “I’ve observed that, commonly, we are looking for a lot of things through prayer. I took an in-depth look at my life and what I have experienced about prayer that would benefit others. Prayer is such a sacred thing. It’s a gift.”

Bradley said there are many questions that complicate the simplicity of such a precious gift.

“‘The Gift of Prayer’ provides an easy understanding and specific answers to questions that many are not able to accurately articulate about prayer,” Bradley said.

“‘Prayer’ provides an up close and personal invitation for readers to explore prayer without intimidation or comparison.”

Bradley said she is excited about the new direction in her life as an author.

“I want all the world to know about prayer,” she said. “‘The Gift of Prayer’ is a book for anyone desiring to understand the essence of prayer. It’s about the gift that is waiting to be explored as revealed in my book.”

Bradley is from Atlanta but she a familiar face locally. She is a member and affiliate of the S.D. James Evangelistic Association and its Evangelistic Pentecostal Churches Worldwide.

The book signing at the Johnson Center for the Arts on Saturday will open with comments by Bradley followed by interaction with those who come to learn more about the gift of prayer.
