Glenwood man dies in wreck

A single-vehicle crash at 6:15 p.m. Sunday, June 5, has claimed the life of a Glenwood man.
According to the Alabama State Troopers, Paul Douglas Pope, 67, was killed when the 1985 Ford F-150 pickup he was driving left the roadway and struck a tree.
Pope, who was not using a seatbelt, was pronounced dead at the scene, according to troopers.
The crash occurred on Coffee County 306 eight miles north of Zion Chapel.
Nothing further is available as Alabama State Troopers continue to investigate.
