Hinton Lamar Knotts, age 81, a resident of Springhill, died Friday, June 03, 2016 at his residence. Funeral services will be heldTuesday, June 7, 2016 at Haw Hill Assembly of God Church at 2:00pm with Rev. Shirlie Ellis officiating. Burial will follow in the Church Cemetery with Dillard Funeral Home of Brundidge directing. Mr. Knotts will lie-in-state one hour prior to the service at the church. The family will receive friends on Monday June 6, 2016 from 6 until 8pm at Dillard Funeral Home in Brundidge.

He is survived by his wife: Janice Knotts of Springhill, 2 sons: Scott Lamar Knotts of Troy, and Michael Knotts(Linda) of Ariton; 3 daughters: Kimberly Knotts Moore(Mike) of Eufaula, Terre Knotts Weems(Stuart) of Headland, and Krystal Knotts Niemczura(David) of Oklahoma; 9 grandchildren: Hailey Ellington(Jarrod), Alexis and Blake Moore, Whitney Carmichael(Christopher), Dearra and Evan Knotts, Ava, Kael, and Holden Niemczura; 2 great grandchildren: Maryn Carmichael and Everett Ellington: 2 sisters: Glenda Daniels(John) and Nell Stinson(Ray).

Mr Knotts was preceded in death by his parents: Joel and Julia Knotts; 4 brothers and 3 sisters.

Mr Knotts proudly served his country in the United States Navy.
