Mrs. Mary Lynn Hobbs of Troy passed away Monday, May 30, 2016 at her residence. She was 89. Graveside services  will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, June 4, 2016 at Oak Hill Cemetery in Talladega, AL with Rev. Bo Weed officiating. Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Friday, June 3, 2016 at Skeen Funeral Home in Troy. Burial will follow in  Oak Hill Cemetery with Skeen Funeral Home of Troy directing. Mrs. Hobbs was born September 11, 1926 in Pike County, AL, to the late Len Wright Waters and Claudie Mae Vance Waters. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her husband, James Stanton Hobbs, Sr. a granddaughter, Olivia Carolynn Hobbs, and her sisters, Mildred Wheeler and Martha Jo Horne.

She is survived by her sons, Keith Hobbs (Donna), Brundidge; James Stanton Hobbs, Jr. (Mary) Palm Coast, FL; Larry Wayne Hobbs (Karen), Ft. Smith, AR; grandchildren, Kristen, Jon, Kate, Robin, Stephen, Abigail, Sam and Ben; 16 great grandchildren; brother, Billy Waters, Prattville; several nieces, nephews, grand nieces and grand nephews and her friends at Southside Baptist Church whom she loved dearly.
