PCBOE makes staff changes

The Pike County Board of Education gave its approval Monday night to Superintendent Dr. Mark Bazzell’s end of year personnel recommendations that included non-renewal contracts and transfers. Those recommendations have been made available for publication.

Pike County High School had one non-renewal, Judith Wells, math, part time.

Goshen High School had two non-renewals, Reggie Griffin, science; and William Stokes, art.

The four non-renewals at Pike County Elementary School were Crystal Pew, kindergarten; Shannah Loper, music; Sharonda Hunter, SPED; and Jalishia Merritt, SPED aide.

Transfer is Cindy Edwards from SPED to third grade.

Goshen Elementary School non-renewals are Twanna Holland, pre-kindergarten auxiliary teacher;  Brooke Dean, pre-kindergarten teacher; and Tonika Perry, SPED aide part-time.

Transfer is Haley Hodge sixth grade to second grade.

Banks School non-renewals are Ronna Buckley, seventh-and eighth grade social science: Chelsea Marguriet, pre-kindergarten teacher; Henry Everett, music, contracted services; and Mallory Rhodes, class size reduction aide.

Transfer is Laura Ellis from reading coach to second grade.

Transportation non-renewals are Jamie Sutherland, bus driver; and Michael Garrett, bus driver, shop helper.
