Jane Rodgers Wright, age 70, a resident of Troy, died Tuesday, March 15, 2016 at Jackson Hospital. Funeral services will be held Friday, March 18, 2016 at 2:00pm in the chapel of Dillard Funeral Home in Troy with Steve Rodgers and Rev. Leon Fortune officiating. She will be laid to rest with her husband at Wesley Chapel Cemetery on Banks Hwy with Dillard Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends on Thursday, March 17, 2016 from 5-7pm at the funeral home.

Ms. Wright has been a long time resident of Pike County, AL. She spent 33 years of her life in the medical field as a registered nurse. Her major goal in life was helping and caring for people. She held many roles in her nursing career.

Mrs. Wright is preceded in death by her husband, Gene A. Wright, her parents, Carlos and Betty Rodgers, and her sister, Jean Rodgers Grissette.

She is survived by her beloved children, Scotty Wright (Dorothy) and Ronald “Ron” Wright (Zannyha); her grandchildren, Bailey, Gabriella and Amelia, Nicholas, Layla, Angel and Zack. Her beloved sister and brother, Judy R. Sullivan and Steve Rodgers; her beloved niece, Tonya Grissette and her children, Kolby and Jackson; her beloved nephews , Barry Sullivan (Leann) and their children, Carolina, Thad and Walker, and Chris Rodgers (Christina) and their children, Lucas, Lauren and Coleman.
