Elsie D. Lindsey, age 97, of Troy, AL died Thursday, March 3, 2016 at Troy Health and Rehab. Funeral services will be held Sunday, March 6, 2016 at 3:00 pm in the chapel of Dillard Funeral Home in Troy with Rev. Ed Shirley officiating. Interment will follow in Antioch Cemetery in Shellhorn with Dillard Funeral Home of Troy directing.

Visitation will be held Sunday, March 6, 2016 from 1:30 pm until 3:00 pm at the funeral home.

Ms. Lindsey is survived by her daughters, Rue Lindsey Botts and Betty Coppage both of Brundidge; her sister, Judy Daniel of Shellhorn; 4 grandchildren, Rita Fowler and husband Mike of Texas, Greg Botts of Clanton, Donna Flowers and husband James of Brundidge and Bo Coppage and wife Daphne of Troy; 10 great grandchildren and 6 great great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Reuben Lindsey; 2 brothers, Jack and Ray Daniel and 2 sisters, Annette Spivey and Jean Bryan.

Pallbearers will be Jimmy Law, Greg Botts, Samuel Botts, Bo Coppage, Cole Coppage and Justin Quintero.

In-lieu-of flowers memorials may be made to Antioch Cemetery Fund in care of Bo Coppage, P.O. Box 433, Troy, AL 36081 or Pike Pioneer Museum.
