Sara Frances Linzey of Troy, born April 2, 1933, died at her home on Tuesday, February 23, 2016 due to pancreatic cancer. Funeral services will be held Friday, February 26, 2016 at 2:00 pm in the chapel of Dillard Funeral Home with Rev. Kenneth Oakes officiating. Visitation will be from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm at Dillard Funeral Home in Troy. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 pm at the funeral home with Rev. Kenneth Oakes officiating and burial following in the Orion Methodist Church Cemetery with Dillard Funeral Home directing.

Ms. Linzey was a member of Conecuh Home Club, Senior Plus, Pike County and Montgomery County Historical Society.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Martha Phenix and Aaron Linzey; step-mother, Sarah Mae Flowers Linzey; brother, Aaron Turner Linzey; sister, Alline Elizabeth Linzey and sister, Barbara Linzey Harville.

Ms. Linzey is survived by 5 children, Owen Linzey Folmar, Daphne Folmar McLeod (Ferrel), Jane Folmar King (Roger), Haywood Parker Jr. (Donna), and William Harold Parker (Tracie); 14 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren.

Flowers will be accepted or donations can be made to Orion Methodist Cemetery Fund and Troy Bank and Trust.
