Mr. Nathaniel Samuel Richardson transitioned from this life to Glory on February 1, 2016. A devoted father, grandfather and brother, he confessed Christ at a very young age at the Rock Elvy Baptist Church in Shady Grove, AL. He worked for many years as a carpenter and was well known in the local community for his skills and the quality of his labor. Mr. Richardson now leaves to cherish his memory: a loving and devoted wife, Frances L. Richardson; two daughters: Felicia D. and Teresa C; five grandchildren: Nigil, Caleb, Mya, Mariah, and Madison; nine brothers and sisters, Garnell (Irene) Richardson, Jr., Daniel J. (Tiffany) Richardson (Madison, AL); Lynn Hobdley (Shady Grove, AL), Patricia Madison (Troy, AL), Essie (Pastor T.C.) Johnson (Huntsville, AL), Rosalynd (George) Pollard (Troy, AL), Jannique (Larry) Ellis (Wetumpka, AL), Marilyn Richardson (Montgomery, AL) and Stella (Carl) Christian (Birmingham, AL); Alice (Lem) McGhee, Phyllis (Rev. Steven) Hudson, Linda Skanes, brothers-in-law: George (Lois) Brantley, Robert (Essie) Brantley, John (Ann) Brantley, Tommy (Patricia) Brantley, James (Diane) Brantley, and three additional stepsisters-in-law and brothers-in-law. He is also survived by many other beloved family members including: aunts, uncles, several grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. He will be especially missed by his special friends: Tony McClain, Clarence Tucker, Laniel Pittman, Bubba Denny and Fred Tolbert. Home going Celebration Services will be held on Saturday, February 6, 2016 at 12:00 Noon at Rock Elvy Missionary Baptist Church in Goshen, Al with Harrison Funeral Home (Troy, Al) entrusted with final arrangements.
