Jerry Sheffield, age 71, a resident of Brundidge, AL died Tuesday, February 2, 2016 at Southeast Alabama Medical Center in Dothan, AL. Funeral services will be held Friday, February 5, 2016 at 2:00 pm in St. John Baptist Church with Reverend Rick Hayes and Reverend Averyt Walker officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery with Dillard Funeral Home of Brundidge directing.

Visitation will be held Thursday, February 4, 2016 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Dillard Funeral Home in Brundidge.

Mr. Sheffield is survived by his wife, Erma Sheffield; daughter, Kelly Dickerson (Eddie); son, Michael Wambles (Kathy), mother, Maudie Lee Sheffield; sister, Fran Hudson (John Frank); brother, Danny Sheffield (Debbie); grandchildren, Mashone Fleming (Jade), Brittany Wambles; great-grandchildren, Anna Morgan Fleming and Owen Fleming and numerous nieces, nephews and other family.

Pallbearers will be Andy Sheffield, Daniel Sheffield, Ricky Ellis, Randall Hayes, Jim Fleming and Rex Hughes. Honorary pallbearers will be Frank Brown, John W. Senn, Everett Dort and Charlie Bray.

Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to your favorite charity.
